[FR/BE/ES/NL] Negotiating with international buying groups: a cross-border European perspective (webinar)

Sharing practical insights on negotiating with international buying groups.

Negotiating with international buying groups requires more than commercial preparation. Differences in national legal frameworks, contractual practices and applicable regulations can have a significant impact on the outcome of negotiations.

To explore these issues, DLN members from France, Belgium, Spain and the Netherlands organised a webinar examining the legal and commercial challenges businesses commonly encounter when dealing with international buying groups.

Drawing on practical experience from their respective jurisdictions, the speakers compared national approaches to key aspects of supplier–buyer negotiations and discussed the importance of carefully considering governing law and jurisdiction clauses in cross-border contracts.

The webinar provided participants with a broader European perspective on a topic that increasingly affects suppliers operating across multiple markets and demonstrated the value of coordinated legal expertise when navigating international commercial relationships.

This initiative reflects the Distribution Law Network’s commitment not only to advising clients on complex cross-border matters, but also to sharing practical knowledge that helps businesses anticipate legal risks and strengthen their commercial strategy.

If you want to benefit from coordinated European expertise in distribution law, get in touch with the DLN.
